13 Dallas Cowboys Room Ideas

To help folks out a bit, we decided to take a look at rooms that were inspired by this classic sports team. Since we know that football tends to be a guys' thing, we've also made the decision to add some man caves to this list, too.

1. The Full Shebang

Parents of one child knew that their kiddo was all about the cowboys, and went to work on designing a dream room for him. This has just about every inch of the room's design done up in Cowboy gear. The sheets are based on the Cowboys. The walls are painted with a mural of the Cowboy's blue star and covered in decals related to the team.

Of course, that's all well and good. What really made his room get extra on it was the fact that they splurged on a custom-made Dallas Cowboys-themed poster with their son's name on it. If there was ever a room that motivated a kid to stick to playing ball, we're willing to bet it is this one.

2. A Full-Length Shot

It definitely seems like murals and bedding are the way to go when it comes to bedroom designs with a football team theme. Here, we see another design concept for a teen's room. Like the last one, there is bedding done up in the Cowboys' theme. The ceiling has the classic blue star above the chandelier, and the rest of the room is also decked out in the sports team's colors.

Rather than go with a full mural of a blue star and flag, the designers here decided to take another route. They decided to add a full wall photograph series showing players doing their thing on the field. Oh, and the collection of Cowboy paraphernalia over the head of the bed seem to help bring the room together.

3. A True Blue Fan Room

We all can assume that everyone recognizes the Cowboys and their blue star logo. It seems like this room was meant for a pair of littler Cowboys fans. Like other rooms done up in this footballer theme, the walls were painted up with the star. And, the sheets are done up in a simple bedsheet set that stays true to the bed.

This bedroom decided to add a splash of green to the mix, with a cool numbered pattern on the bottom half of the room. The two colors brighten up the room. Of course, having all that bright white lighting only helps. It's a pretty cheerful room!

4. The College Bro Room

via IBB Design

The cool thing about sports fandom is that it doesn't go away after you hit age 10 or so like many other fandoms. This means that there are people out there who still enjoy watching the guys play well into their college years. So, if you're one of those people who are avid fans of the Cowboys as an adult, it's totally cool to have a room that reflects it. You just need to be a bit more discerning.

This room designer still has a star mural (I think that's just going to be the thing here at this point…) but focuses on a light grey and dark blue motif. This gives the room a much more sophisticated vibe than the darker greys we saw in earlier ones. Since the colors look fairly adult, this method works well when you want to keep things looking more appropriate for your age.

Subtle nods to the team via pennant flags and a framed shirt were a nice touch, don't you think?

5. Fully Football

via Rooms To Go

This is a room that got a bit ambitious with the theme. The entire theme is very clearly football-related, since there's a bean bag and a football lamp present in the room. Actually, there's a lot of deep brown and green to be seen here for a Dallas Cowboys room. However, it still works considering that football is played with a brown ball and is played on green grass.

Though there's a lot of generic football stuff, it's clear that the room is still dedicated to the Cowboys. The sheets, the lampshade, the rug, and the artwork add that Texan touch in a pinch. With that said, this room is definitely still a hardcore fan choice. If you are okay with having a very bold room, this is a good one for you.

6. Just The Mural

via Design Corrall

This room definitely works as a more urbane man cave, or at least a room where you can watch Cowboys games with the guys. As you might've guessed, the older you are, the more you should consider getting a room designed around neutrals. Thankfully, grey is a neutral as well as a team color for the Cowboys. This means that having staples like a grey couch with blue pillows can pass for a theme.

Of course, there still needs to be some overt love for the Cowboys in order for this room to truly count as a sports fan room. The art series behind the couch counts for that. If you ask us, the drama from the mural series makes this entire room feel a little more action-packed. It's a subtle way to cheer on the crew. Go team!

7. A True Man Cave

via Houzz

If you are hunting down the idea for the best possible man cave with a Cowboys twist, then you might want to check out what this designer did. He created a massive basement man cave and game room. It's basically a guy's dream come true. It has a poker table, a billiards set, and a TV viewing area with a massive snack table.

Oh, and it's all done in grey, blue, and black. Did we mention that they have a bunch of framed shirts and photographs of the Dallas Cowboy greats, too? Because the designer (or designers) behind this themed room really went all in. Even if you don't understand football, this room is impressive. The amenities alone are insane.

8. The Grey Game Room

via Houzz

If there's one thing the Dallas Cowboys have going for them when it comes to room designs in their themes, it's the fact that people like both navy blue and grey together. However, navy blue is pretty darn dark for a full wall's worth of color. In smaller rooms it can look pretty intense or even make your room look a little suffocating at times.

Thankfully, there's a workaround that the designer here took note of. They decided to paint the walls grey, which is a super flexible and trendy choice. Then, they added the dark blue accents in the form of a backlit star and some cool photo memorabilia. This keeps the room looking open, but doesn't stray from the Cowboy colors.

9. The Ultimate Viewing Room

via Brooklyn Berry Designs

We all know superfans who take game day very seriously, but this is straight-up next level. This Dallas Cowboys super-viewing station has a jaw-dropping five televisions. The Cowboys theme is subtle here, with the rug that has the name of the team as well as the numbered motif in green. Oh, and the couch has Cowboys pillows.

The pillows are a nice touch, but what really works with this theme is the fact that this entire area is a shrine to everything that comes with watching a football game. There's a football-themed rug, super cushy couches, as well as a place for all the nachos in the world. It's safe to say that game day here is on another level.

10. Smells Like Team Spirit

via Pinterest

Well, this is a turn we weren't expecting. However, sports superfans will never cease to amaze us. Some folks are so wild about the Cowboys, they actually did full bathroom remodels featuring the Cowboys theme. Here, we see a small walk-in shower that has a Cowboys star made from tiling on the wall, and a Cowboys shower curtain.

This might be the priciest renovation or room theme we've seen, primarily because bathroom renovations cost so much. With that said, if you're a fan that eats, sleeps, and breathes football, then this might be a good choice. Might we suggest it for a guy's personal shower?

11. The Littlest Cowboy

via Pinterest

So, apparently, the love of certain sports teams tends to run in families. This nursery was made by two doting parents who decided to bring their kids up in the way of the Texan…and the Dallas Cowboys. To do it, they decided to outfit their baby's entire nursery in a football and Cowboys theme. If that doesn't tell you how dedicated they are to the team, we don't know what else could.

All the nursery bedding involves Dallas Cowboy print goodness. And, there's a blanket that has something to do with football on top. Even the petite teddy bear in the crib has a Cowboy motif. Now, we might not be child psychologists, but something just tells us that this kiddo will probably want to cheer for this team when he's old enough to shout.

12. The Bro Bar

via Pinterest

If there is one thing that everyone knows about football, it's that people love to chug beer while they watch it. It's an unwritten rule of sports. Sports viewing is time to get lit. This bar is proof that the two themes go hand in hand. The grey background keeps things open and highly visible, even when the lights are dimmed and people are watching the game.

One thing we noticed about this room is that the seating has a Mediterranean feel. There's also a pretty nice cast iron wine rack. So, even if you're not the typical football fan that enjoys popping open a brewski, chances are you might want to lounge around this area. Besides, the way they arranged their memorabilia is on point and we can all appreciate that.

13. The Mini Man Cave

via Pinterest

If there is one thing that most people need to be aware of, it's the fact that you do not need a large space to have a man cave. Heck, you don't even need a large space to have a really cool man cave. The picture above is proof. The room is only big enough for a single couch, a TV, and a music system…oh, and an absolutely massive collection of Dallas Cowboys gear.

To keep things lit, this savvy homeowner grabbed some white LED star lights. They also relied on the glow from their TV and what appears to be a light-up sign that has a picture on it. (Or, it could just be another TV. It's hard to tell.) Regardless of how petite this is compared to other man caves, it's clear that it's a place with a lot of good memories.

What more can we say? It doesn't matter if you are young or old, or if you're male or female. If you truly want to have a Cowboys-themed room, there's always a way to make it happen. It might take a little creativity, but finding gear for this room theme is a cinch.
